Kayaking, canoeing and rafting.

Kayaking can take you straight into the heart of the great outdoors. You can visit whales and seals and glide through estuaries teeming with bird life. Mike's Bikes in neighboring Sequim, is an excellent source of bikes and service, and their website provides valuable information on the best trails and bike paths, along with handy maps.

Beachcombing.

Highway 101 takes you to some of the most extraordinary, unspoiled ocean beaches in the world. Some of the most accessible are First, Second and Third Beaches , near the Quileute Tribal village of La Push. Beachcombing there offers scenic views, driftwood, tide pools and wildlife viewing. You can find picnic fare at La Push Lonesome Creek convenience store or sample fresh-caught seafood at River's Edge Restaurant. Call (360) 374-5777 for more information.
